On 7 September 2021, Zetas’s teams were awarded a contract by the Abu Dhabi municipal authority to improve the soil beneath the existing roads around Mlieh school, in Sector 6 of Shakhbout City.
Drawdowns carried out on the adjacent structures have created underground currents which are gradually dissolving the salt contained in the soil. This has led to excessive settlement beneath the roads around Mlieh school, despite frequent road maintenance work.
Zetaş technical proposal, involving sealing the cavities and rigid columns won everyone’s support as it provided a rapid solution to implement and significant savings on the project’s overall budget.
